Service type
Casa Flamingo is a disciplined study in modern minimalism, grounded in material warmth and structural clarity. Designed with Bauhaus influence, the home relies on proportion, alignment, and concrete expression rather than ornament.
The structure is fully concrete—walls, slabs, and all three decks—requiring careful sequencing and structural coordination from day one. Flat roofs and exposed planes demand precision; in homes like this, even minor misalignment becomes visible. The construction process prioritized structural integrity while preserving the architectural purity of the original concept.
The most technically demanding element is the elevated pool, which wraps the residence in a continuous “C” form. This above-ground structure functions simultaneously as a lap pool, a frontal water feature, and a rear beach entry. Because the pool integrates directly with the building envelope, waterproofing, structural reinforcement, and drainage detailing were critical to long-term performance.
Rather than soften the architecture with excess finishes, material warmth was introduced selectively. The result is a residence that feels restrained yet livable—an ultra-modern home where structure, water, and proportion carry the experience.
