Casa Estrella
- Miami Beach, FL
Casa Estrella was shaped by its orientation to the bay. Rather than impose symmetry, the architecture responds to light and sightlines, allowing the home to shift subtly, framing water views. The façade feels sculpted with Niwala coral stone anchoring the exterior in a distinctly coastal language.
Featured in Luxe Magazine, the micro-cement interior surfaces create continuity across planes, softening transitions between wall and ceiling. Bronze accents introduce warmth without visual heaviness, while tropical hardwood elements punctuate circulation paths. Terrazzo floors provide both durability and understated pattern.
The kitchen integrates Miele, Sub-Zero, and Wolf appliances seamlessly within custom millwork, maintaining architectural clarity rather than appliance dominance. Fry Reglet’s frameless door systems and baseboards eliminate visual interruption, reinforcing the minimalist intent. Phoenix lighting was selected for its refined profiles and quiet performance. Bathrooms feature Tadelakt and Chukum finishes, introducing depth through plaster texture rather than decorative ornament.
