Casa Encanto

This Spanish Colonial reinterpretation incorporates restrained modern elements, striking a balance between the two architectural styles. The integrated pool blurs the boundary between kitchen, terrace, and water.

Casa Encanto sits on a narrow 7,125-square-foot lot adjacent to La Gorce Country Club, where density demands precision. Rather than appear compressed, the residence uses verticality to create openness within constraint.

The exterior draws from Spanish Colonial influence—arched proportions, textured surfaces—while maintaining contemporary discipline in detailing. The structure feels rooted in Miami’s architectural heritage, yet contemporary, while incorporating modern design.

The defining element is the pool’s proximity to the main living space. Sliding glass walls open directly from the kitchen and living area to the water’s edge, dissolving interior and exterior boundaries, and requiring careful coordination of elevations and waterproofing.

Control4 automation integrates lighting, climate, and media systems discreetly, preserving architectural calm.
Casa Encanto’s character is intimate yet expansive. It embraces the compact lot by focusing on vertical layering, material warmth, and fluid indoor-outdoor living rather than sheer square footage.
